Set off this morning down Ruta 40, no problems. Stopped to take in the view, bike wouldn't start. Quickly realised everything controlled by the handlebar switches on my ´95 1100GS has suddendly lost power, i.e. no starter, no lights, no horn, no indicators. I was able to bump start ok and other electrics work ok, i.e. brake light, ABS. Anyone any pointers?
Most appreciated, Hambo :(

have a good look at the wiring to the switch and follow it back and check any connectors along the way to make sure thgey have continuity ;)

Lots of possiblities, but check the starter relay hasn't been dislodged.
It happened to me once :o

Problem solved!

Thanks for the replies. Turned out the spade connector on the starter motor had removed itself...now ok.
