Flying along quite merrily today when everything went pretty dead.
Pulled over.Quick inspection suggests I have ignition, all lights ok etc, etc, but no spark(on either side).Checked all wiring behind front cover, and under tank, but everything looks fine.
What do I look for next and how do i do required checks,(before I start shelling silly money out).

Cheers all,
Martin

My 80g/s did it last Sat Morning.
1 S/H K100 coil later a'la Steptoes tip, and my little lady is running sweet as a nut :)
Apparently Coils feck up quite suddenly, just like mine did and yours seemingly.
I was all ready to buy a new bean can at mega money, till I asked Steptoes advice. :thumb :rob
BUGGER  I must buy him a Beer or two @ Hogroast :thumb

K100 coil

I will run a few checks, and if it gets to it, which particular k1oo model coil do i look for ?????

Before you pull anything apart just take a plug out and rest it on the head with the ht lead attached. Turn on the ignition and then flick the kill switch on and off. You should get a spark regardless of the condition of the trigger unit and the bean can. If you are getting a spark then the coils going to be ok (ish) and you can look elsewhere.

no spark !

Tried the above Rob, and no spark whatsoever ????
Can i be 100% its the coil then, and go and buy one.

Ps . . I owe you one actually. You sent me a shock for my Gs sometime ago.
worked wonders, thanks
