So I've gone and bought some fog/running lights for my '03 1150 GSA. My plan is to make my own brackets to mount the things and then wire a new relay using the existing power supply to low beam. I will add a switch in this circuit for mot purposes.... My question, is this too complicated, does the GSA have an existing circuit for this purpose - or has anyone done this in a different way they'd recommend?

I made my own mounting bar which bolted to the oil cooler, fitted a relay so they switch on with the dipped beam with a custom made bracket on the left hand switch gear so they can be on or off...

EDIT: (2002 BMW R1150GS)

To answer your question ...

... no, there is no existing dedicated circuit. I have a very simplistic PDF showing the relevant wiring using a relay, if you'd like a copy PM me an email address. It's quite straightforward, even I managed it :thumb2
