I understand the OE lights draw 1.8a each, so the new Denali's will likely shut down the circuit. (3.6a versus 5.4a for the Denalis). Thus you will need to run them through a controller module.
There are several threads on the subject across various forums, where many suggest leaving the BMW lights in place & mounting the new kit separately. Apparently this avoids any dash messages or coding out of the existing lights & leaves you with an entirely separate retro-fit option, that doesn't involve any of the bike's existing loom, which can be moved from bike to bike in the event of change. It makes sense, but I hasten to add that my info is second hand, not from personal experience.
