Thanks guys,

I am coordinating the course content at present with the instructors, so I hope to be in a position to provide costs and date my the end of next week.

What I can tell you is that the venue will be in Skerries North County Dublin.

There is very secure off street parking and an outside area where we could act out some scenarios.

Tea/coffee and lunch will be provided.

Cheers,
Brian

Don't know..........:nenau

Did you do it and what did it cover:confused:

Course was run over 2 nights covered basic first aid cpr etc...
Course run by paramedics (who were bikers) from DFB very worth while doing. It was a first on scene accident course that was aimed at preventing further injuries to motorcyclists and motorists.

Adventure Rider Emergency First Aid

Thanks everyone that has shown interest in the course

I have made a view changes to the course, that will give all participants a much better understanding of emergency first aid

1. The new title is Adventure Rider Emergency First Aid

2. The course will be certified.

3. A additional instructor has come on board with vast experience in wilderness and remote emergency first aid. This guy is an Advanced Paramedic and course coordinator for WEMSI Ireland.(I have worked with this guy and he is an excellent instructor)

4. I am capping the number on candidates at 18.

Available dates for the three instructors are January the 8th or the 15th.

Cost of the course will be €100.00 per participant.

The course will be quite intensive and the time's are 9am to 6pm, there will be tea breaks and a break for lunch.

I will post a waypoint shortly.

Thanks again for all your support.

Brian

Update

Ok guys, I have 18 people saying yes, some of you have already confirmed that you will be attending. Thank guys.:thumb

I have attached an excel spreadsheet, so when you get an opportunity could you confirm what dates you are available. If you have changed your mind just say no on the spreadsheet. If both dates are ok with you can you say yes in both columns.

I have organised a number of volunteer casualties for the day that will have realistic simulated injuries for you to administer your new emergency first aid skills.

Oh, and try and look your best as Bike Buyers Guide might be there to do a feature of the days events.

Thanks Again,

Brian
