Adventure Rider Emergency First Aid

Ok guys, I have a small number of places left on the course that is scheduled for the 15th of this month, so please confirm your attendance. This is a very worthwhile course to get involved in and places are limited to 18 participants.

A deposit of €30.00 will be required and the balance on the morning of the course. Indeed if you prefer you can pay in full before the 15th.

So, what will you be getting for your €100.00; the fee includes your course registration, your course certificate, each participant will receive a pack to the value of €30.00 and expert training from the instructors.

A few details on what is covered.
CPR
Fractures

Bleeding
Burns

Heart attacks
Cardiac arrest
Unconscious casualty
Making an emergency phone call, you would be surprised how many people forget how to do this in an emergency situation.
When to move a casualty
Traffic control

Guys, I just want to mention that the course fee of €100.00 is an introductory offer for this course only.

So, please contact me on 086 8370259 or 01 2722289 to confirm your participation.

Fantastic Day

Big thanks to Brian, Geraldine, Maria and Joe. :beerjug:

Great learning experience and I would recommend everyone to go on the course.

Good crack and great company:thumb

Thank You

A big thank you to all that attended the course and to everyone that supported the idea, it was your help and support that gave me the impetus to bring it from just an idea to a registered, certified course. In fact the course is now registered and titled “Adventure Rider Emergency First Aid, with Remote Emergency Care Ireland. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

16 people from different clubs, back grounds gender and age took the course. It was a very long day and there was a lot covered. I know that on such a long day it can be very difficult to keep focused but I think that when we did the practical sessions you all perked up and got seriously involved, especially when it came to helmet removal, C-Spine management and dealing with the bloody bits.

I have already received emails and texts congratulating me on the course, but honestly guys, the congratulations are for you, without you the idea would have stayed that, just an idea.

Paul and Maeve from Bike Buyers Guide came along to see what it was all about, took some photos and talked to a few of us. So a big thanks to them as well. Paul is hoping to squeeze a bit of a feature about the course in one of the magazine's issues, so I’ll keep you up to date with how that goes.

I hope to run a another course soon and I will you inform of that.

I better not forget to say a big thanks to Geraldine for all her hard work, the venue, teas coffees and lunches. And thanks to Joe and Maria for there time and input in orgainsing the content of the course.

Now where’s me OSCAR:D:D
