Came off the Rotterdam Ferry on Friday morning and set off down into Germany, 200 or so miles later in the outside lane of the autobahn bike lost all power and the EML started flashing along with various others. , pulled in clutch switched off main ignitionswitch and restarted the bike , lights cleared but it was feeling rough
Twenty or so miles later exactly the same thing and again a rolling restart cleared the lights and restored power.
Annoying not to say possibly dangerous, for the rest of the day the bike was okay but a bit rough.
Following day it did exactly the same thing at just under 200 miles and again 20 odd miles later, thankfully on slower roads but still disconcerting and after each event bike feels rougher and less responsive.
Nursed the bike down from Oetz to Zell am See yesterday where we are staying for ten days and took it to a main dealer 5 miles away at 9am this morning and left it there.
They were busy toxay and will do diagnostics tomorrow, but say it potentially looks like an issue with the throttle potentiometer sensor in one side failing ,saying they have had a few on 2017/18 bikes.
Anyone had similar?
