I think I prefer the looks of the standard can to the Akra 'Guppie fish can' to be honest. It's beautifully made but horrible to look at IMHO.

I don’t think the weight saving will make much difference to me, and I’m not looking at it most of the time, so the standard can will stay on mine.

And my yacht has an anchor already

The OE can is OK, much better than a lot of bikes original exhausts, but....
I like the sound better...
And I wanted a black one

Nippy Norman’s are still selling new Euro 3 Akra’s which look far better than the current Akra

I also would go for the EU-3 Akra...Best materials as also build quality and DB-killers for deep throaty boxersound easily removeable ! Next choice would be the Akra EU-4 "fishcan" where the CF endpiece is easily taken off with 2 bolts and not a bunch of rivets have to be drilled out in order to to get to the bolts to be grind off to remove the DB-killers to make the bike sound like a proper motorcycle...Spend the extra money on the Akra...Best quality/best product out there ! The other stuff doesn't sound as throaty,doesn't give additional mid-range torque and does not last as long...

I would disagree (obviously if you have a large test base and data to back it up, I may be swayed) Arrow is throatier than OE and much more with baffle out
If you get an Arrow Euro4, it has the tiniest tab that is held on by a smidge of a weld which just pulls off leaving no residue, so even easier to convert
Don't need any more mid range torque, if it hasn't got it already

But definitely not the pregnant guppy Akra even if it added 30bhp

And at twice the price, should mine evaporate I can get another and still be ahead financially (New, not secondhand)

But as I said earlier, everyone has their favourite
