End float "stuff"

My 2002 1150 has 90000 miles on it, and when checking valves etc I checked the end float too, as I've read that this needs to be correctly set for nice quiet running etc etc .
They are all at the lower end of the spec, apart from the "exhaust" side of the right pot. This is within tolerance but at the top end of the limits.
So, my questions are.

1) Would going to the effort of trying to adjust the end float on this one side make any noticeable difference or have any obvious benefits?

2) As the cap seems to hold both rocker shafts in place, is it actually possible to adjust just 1 end of the cap?

That's what I was hoping to hear !! Thank you. It's alll within.tolerance, just the one that's bigger than the others

I think the thinking on this is that if you adjust it to the tighter end of the tolerance scale it will make it a tad quieter. It is simple to do, but you do need a torque wrench.

Mark I have to disagree (in a nice way) its such a small margin between the two measurements. min 0.05 & max 0.40

In reality, for a novice disturbing everything to achieve a Nirvana of measurements to reduce gap by 0.35mm could be problematic and create more problems than it actually was causing

most of the noisy feckers I have had in to repair were well out of spec worst ever was a mm and some and it was like there was a wee bollox in there with a hammer (Running it with 10W30 or some other very not viscous fully synth stuff didn't help either

After you torque up the bolts, You then must "check/set" the valve clearances before refitting the rocker cover
