End of the TKC 80??????

I phoned my tyre supplier yesterday for a new set of knobblies and he phoned me back to say the the TKC 80 has been discontinued in our size by Continental.....?!?!?

He said that his supplier's computer has recently marked them up as "deleted" and no longer available from Conti.....

So, before I get lynched with shed load of replies saying it's a load of tosh... does anyone KNOW whether there could be any truth to this?????? perhaps it's just my supplier...

In the mean time.... I want some TKC 80s! and I don't want to ride to Sandbach!! anybody get them mail order where it's cheaper to buy a a couple of sets???

I'm new to GS's so I'm not familiar with this tyre, but there's a company called FWR (www.fwr.co.uk) in Vauxhall, London and they do mail order.
They are also very competitive, certainly on more common tyre choices such as the sports bike market.
Give them a bell, you may be pleasantly surprised! Good luck!
