After my little unplanned adventure in the sand and battling like crazy to keep control of the bike, will flicking to enduro mode switch off the wizardry stuff in one input? The BMW manual is far from clear.

So does the enduro pro option only come on if you have a dongle.
Also how much are the dongles.

Just had a bimble off road and had a slow drop in the mud (no damage) just greenery stuck in the crash bars.
I think I locked the front and the bike spun sideways.
Not sure what electricery would have done to help but I was in rain mode.

If you have a GSA the dongle (which is red) should be in a little plastic bag clipped to the underside of your seat

All GS/GSA's come with the dongle but not fitted as "standard", pre 600 mile service.

Look under the seat, flip it over, on the underside, there will be a thing that looks like
a USB stick, that is the dongle, plugged it in (or get your friendly dealer to plug it in).
And Enduro Pro will be available.

Hope this helps.

You can turn off the traction control at the touch of a button. The one on the left. Press and hold down and the traction control warning light will appear on the dash. Bike wheelies even better :augie

All the dongle does is short two wires together.

EnduroPro is the dogs danglies and the masterful work of black magic. Only occasionally do you need to manually disable ABS completely and rarely for traction control.

Windy, you can't ride a bike in the sand with the traction/ ABS electronics playing silly feckers. Just the same as in a 4x4. Switch everything off and feel the 'Force'.
