Chaps,
Are airhead engine bars all the same profile? I need to match the LH bar on my ST (with the side stand built in) and was wondering if I need to find a specific RH bar or if any airhead one will match?

Cheers, Jon.

The sidestand crashbars are hard to find. I've cut the sidestand part off and welded it onto a standard crashbar before.

Hi Rob,
My recently acquired ST project came with the LH crash bar & side stand, but without the RH one to match as the bike was shunted on that side & the PO binned it. When you cut the side stand bit off to add to standard crash bars, was that to add to an ST/GS? Do you happen to know if jackass dave's bars would fit an ST, and if not, why not?

Ta very much.

If your left hand bar with the side stand is intact then pretty much any bar will do for the right hand side.

are yours chrome or black?

Thanks for the info. They're chrome, and the LH one is in serviceable nick. The foot is snapped off the side stand, but that's no biggie.
Also, the centre stand is strange, it has no bit to put your foot on to use your weight to lever the bike up, like on my Paralever GS. Is that as it should be, or is something else missing?

I think I've a pair of chrome ones in my stash. I'll have a look in the morning.

Sounds like your main stand if bolloxed.

Measure the distance between the 2 down tube frame fixings of the crash bars, there are at least 2 different ones. DAMHIK
