Engine casing corrosion

Hi

Has anyone ever done anything to tackle this? Particularly on the Rotax F650GS.

Wire brush and paint or is there another approach?

Wire brush/sandpaper/de-grease and then silver smooth Hammerite spray. The silver is a "near enough" match and certainly removes a fair degree of the ugliness!
