R/H Engine Casing !!

Hi,

I’m changing my stator yet again, this time myself. Just as precaution & as it doesn’t say anything in the Haynes manual. Do I have to drop the oil prior to cracking open the cover?

Nope, not required when I did mine. Hope you are fitting the updated stator, the early one’s were under rated. I fitted an updated stator @ 63,000 miles and it’s still good at 108,000 miles
