As above had it professionally cleaned & this has come on. Ideally don’t want to ride it to the dealers (50 Miles away) as I’m selling it, only to get dirty again. Plus I assume with an orange light such as this it shouldn’t be ridden.
Advise sought plse.

Let it dry for a day or two. Then disconnect the battery and connect it back on after 30 minutes. If the engine light is still on, I guess the only way is trip to the dealer or someone with GS911 or similar to read the code.

Did the light come on immediately after having it cleaned or did you ride for a while first?

If the former, and assuming nothing was removed, I'd have a good look around to check that the detailer didn't accidently pull any wires off that he shouldn't have.

Always possible that its the exhaust flap issue, not sure what error message one gets when that jams (in which case its a job for the dealer (assuming bike is still under warranty))
