Engine paint

Does anybody know the best paint to use for painting engine casings?
The paint on my front engine casing has started to peel where the stones and salt have got to it. I could do with repainting it this winter.

Halfords do satin black & satin silver engine laquer, which looks just like the original finish but withstands stone chips etc much better than the original finish.

It's specifically for engines & gearboxes, is cellulose based and is applied by brush.

No Civil, I flogged the bike and got another one. Smoothrite silver is virtually identical in colour I've been told.
