Battery Fail

As stated above, this might be a sign of failing battery.

Two days after I started getting the warning, my F850GS wouldn't turn over the starter. The low voltage warning came way too late, like after I had cycled it on and off several times trying to restart it.

I actually haven't replaced the battery yet, but it's about four years old so probably due.

Had similar problems with my bike failing to start after riding it for 30 minutes.
Recovery engineer said it was a faulty cell on the battery, but turned out to be an issue with fluids draining back into the engine too slowly.
It's happened 4 times now a BMW seem a bit confused as to why its happening.

This happened this morning but was pulling out of my drive when it happened. Drive is totally flat and Spring Strut warning came up.
It was only service last week......

Yes...last month in Portugal. Switched the bike off and on a few times and it never came back. Rode 1500 miles since. Service due in a couple of weeks - I'll ask them to investigate (extended Warranty)
