ESA has left the building !!!

Well an incident free day :D no ESA issues.

I did notice that my fogs had turned themselves off as well. Switched back on fine though. As long as these little glitches self resolve I'm happy with that

Yes had same in Pyrenees on the trails. Switching everything off and back on with the key sorted it. I had been riding it like it was stolen on the trails though.

Yes mine did the same thing the morning after the day before Day before I had been hammering it a bit, so not sure what happened. I like original poster was worried as had long commute, so switched off and went to find the owners manual, came back to check the symbol and none was there.

When took to dealer for service I asked them to check, they could see the error code, but no reason for it, they reckoned computer glitch.....reassuring on an adventure bike ha ha!

Happened to me again on Sat, off road in Wales. Was below zero degrees, and had been hammering it. Bike started feeling a bit weird (wooden), but put it down to the ground being slippery. Then I noticed the ESA error. Would not clear by switching bike off with key. Cleared it in the end by changing riding modes, and was fine for rest of the day. Hopefully fault logged in the computer and can be diagnosed / fixed.

Both times it has happened with me has been after hammering it off road. Once when north of 30 degrees, other when below zero; so hardly an overheating issue.

Mine did it today:eek: went to dealer and new software installed only the second one they've done
