ESA rear shock fked 2012TBTC

Shock now leaking good an proper from the top under the seat an running down onto lower shock mounting point in swing arm ,not impressed as I don't carry pillions an only carry a little extra weight going on tour but nothing overweight or excessive,but its knackered at( 6,200 miles) on a 2012 bike maybe after 2yrs it will be wilburs wesa time as its been to hilltop she's a TCTBlack keeper if it dosnt fall apart

Yep still in warranty with another 11 months remaining ,just hoping its a one off dodgy unit at 6,200 miles , its not good for long life an high mileage with a failure this early on without even true abuse ,but its being replaced without quibble foc ,but that's what a warranty is for

I had my rear shock replaced last Thursday under my extended warranty, the bike (a late 2010 GSA) had 18500 miles on it. No oil leak, the shock was just bottoming out on the slightest bump, making it a very hard ride. I hadn't realised how bad it was until the new one was fitted.
