ESA Test?

OK, daft question time...... (When is it not )

Is there a way to test if the ESA is working other than by 'feel' on the road? I'm not talking about the preload where you can see the bike physically raising and lowering, but the damping in 'sport', 'normal' and 'comfort' modes.

Anyone had a problem with this not working?

Ignition on, engine not running. scroll through the settings, as it changes you will hear a slight servo sort of noise from top of front shock area.
