Hi, my buddy has just got a new euro 4 spec but wants to remove the stuck on fork reflectors. Has anyone done this and how without damaging the paintwork or fork leg.

Leave them on there likely to be part of MOT by the time it's 3 years old, you don't see them when you're on the bike and once we have got used to all new bikes having them you won't even notice them!

Had them on bikes as a kid..wheel turns slowly. Besides they take little away but could possibly add a lot..

I guess you could cable tie them back on before MOT, then cut off afterwards!

In the case above removal of the reflectors has resulted in a downgrading of the bike to a TC

Ditto.... they are like US market orange sidelights that feature as an afterthought (that's because it is an afterthought) on great cars like 911s, Astons etc...
I hate them too. I will replace them with black reflective 3M tape... MoT is years away and the TB could only just be my first bike in a decade that will see an MOT in my own hands as I have struggled to break 2years in most of my bikes before the chop...but I really like this one like none before it...
I think they look fab and anything to improve road safety and help a bikermate be more visible
It'll all stop when the first reflectored bike hoons past one that's had the reflectors removed.
This is just too much for a Sunday morning. I really don't know whether to go back in the garage and stick them back on, get some reflective 3M tape, or stick two fingers up and run the risk, knowing that the removal of the reflectors could be the piece of the puzzle that causes my final demise. Maybe I'll start a poll.
