As I am importing my bike back from Saudi, it is originally a euro spec model.
The odometer is in KMS and the twin lights seem not to have any familiar lens pattern to them.

Iknow that the lights can be shifted up or down and left or right via the screws inside the housing. But, is that sufficient or; are the light lenses different?

If different, would that be for both dip and main beam?

For the odometer, would a temporary transfer or markings for MPH be sufficient?

Can they be converted or must I buy a new one?

Regards,

When I registered my Italian import Moto Guzzi NTX 650 I had to take it to the LVLO for an inspection.

The headlamp had to dip to the left, and I couldn`t alter it like yours,so I just blanked off a triangle on the headlamp glass....it`s usually visible on the glass where to do it (it`s on the left, due to how the reflector works) and that was acceptable.

The speedometer MUST read in mph and an overlay on the glass or bits of tape are not acceptable nowadays......the Inspector advised to either change the whole unit or to fit a bicycle electronic speedo with a magnet on the spokes.
This I did and it was less than a tenner.

You can also buy mechanical or electronic converter units for many bikes.
You said 'odometer' but that`s the distance recorder, not the speed recorder (speedometer).

Bizarrely it`s okay if your speedo reads mph but your odometer/trip meter reads km......my Urals are like that.

You can alter the headlight to LH throw from the current RH throw by twisting the light in its housing. Its what I do when heading the europe.
