its this kind of post that wants you to get out there and buy a harley !
the harley gigs always look the most fun......................

pix are great,so sharp, was that done in post or ?

thanks very much for taking the time to post such a great selection,i like the dudes with wearing the masks, hadnt seen that before.

Spirit of biking

...looking at the orange chop about halfway down (with the leopard print lid ) - see the bottom edge of the frame at the front? Not a show pony, that bike has been ridden hard.

Was rather taken with the lady on the Sportster too.

I particularly like the kiddies watching the guitarist on stage,

Cheers Graham

Agreed ......went to the 2nd European Hog Rally in Port Grimaud (2008)...fantastic event and every bar & restaurant in town and many in Nice itself was completely decked out in Harley baneers & flags and couldn't have been more welcoming.

PS He did manage to get at least 3 Gses in the piccies too:thumb

Dont think so, hes just got a great eye, some skills & some great kit. Wish I could take shots like that. There was just the one that looked like it had been quite heavily sharpened in post, solo rider on a black bike out in the countryside riding towards the camera. Some really nice cropping too.:bow

Fantastic pictures, looks like an incredible event:thumb:beerjug:

Excellent photos :thumb2

In the crowd shots I was looking for cast members of sons of anarchy :D

The stacked crates with the bikes in them and the forklift unloading others looks like a good business idea.

I presume that'll be the wankers that can't ride their bikes more than 20 miles so get them transported to the show for the week. Then again I may be wrong and just letting my prejudices get in the way.

Stunning photoset though!

Possibly, but there are lots of bike owners (all makes) that would like to ride in a different country but have limited time and dont want to spend two days of their annual leave getting to a venue. I intend to ship one of my bikes to Spain soon and it works out cheaper than riding it there.

Yes, I know and I agree, why the hell not, it makes sense. It's just I like to be judgemental and all sneery towards the bankers dressed up as Sonny Barger for the weekend. In reality I couldn't really care less. Do what you like as long as you're not hurting anyone else. :beerjug:
