So we're allowed too aren't we:augie

I guess thats my lesson learnt then - don't go offroad on your lonesome! This was within 1 mile of home when I just couldn't resist the lure of a track I know through Alice Holt in Hampshire..............thank god for the bunch of guys on pogos that came and managed to haul me out, otherwise I think I'd still be there! Now, where do I stow the tow rope in the future?

Get off, walk around to left side of bike, push it over onto its right hand side, lever wheels up out of mud with branch/fence post etc.

(You could also look around for any sort of cardboard, bit of plastic or whatever to lie it over on)

Once lying on its side, spin 90 degrees on right had cylinder head (it wouldn't have done any more than made a few tiny scratches , if anything) then right bike in normal way, bump over the ruts and make your way out :)

A tow rope is only any good if you have something to pull you with....learn to be self sufficient :)

Well done though....and don't stop having adventures:thumb2

See you neglected to mention the SOS call you made to a certain 1150 pilot who was in the vicinity:augie
Wanna borrow my tow rope for Morocco?
As you know, it's bright yellow and almost has your name on it;)
