Anyone else had/noticed this? Was there a fix eg cable routing or is it all electrics?

It doesnt bother me to much so am inclined to just live with it.

Confirmed on mine 2013LC.

No cable these days! Not sure if it works off ABS or has it's own sensor? My guess would be off the ABS.

I don't think it is problem with electronics, but simply mechanical - I reckon it is down to vibration at that speed. Looks like cheaply made speedo to me.

Never look at it, I always use digital speedo on the LCD that can be seen much more easily, especially if your eyes are a bit old-ish!

Never noticed it will take a look tomorrow, if I can get up to and maintain 70mph on the A14 in tomorrow's rush hour.

I managed to maintain 70mph for quite a long way on the A14 this morning and not the slightest tremor from the speedo needle - I can only assume that because my bike is an early 2013 model it was built and tested in Germany and therefore works properly - the rest of you probably got the cost reduced Chinese editions :D

Just goes to prove that these days you should be an early adopter so that you avoid getting the cost reduced versions that come along later - the old adage that one should never buy a vehicle in its first year of production obviously no longer applies.

6hrs on French motorways you need to find yourself something to do...

Is the OP talking about the speedometer needle, or his gentlemans needle?:P:D

Yes its called cruise control, set speed to a ton, hands off bars and steer bike with your knees in the slipstream.
