But I don't know where. What exactly is the function of the "cat code" plug and why are there different colors(other than to tell them apart) which is what I thought part numbers were for. Has anyone(I'll bet there are a few) who have switched plug "colors"? What was the result?
Winters is almost over here in Maine, three rides already. What's next?

Have a search about on the site and you will find the answer, the UK standard plug for my 1100 is beige (97 1100, no cat or lambda\probe) if I remove the plug the bike runs richer but not badly otherwise.

It's changeable to allow the bike to run on poor quality fuel.

Downloaded a copy of the diagram.The post mentions the BB power chip.
Does the CCP jumpering refer to that chip only or can it be applied to the std ECU?.
