Trade in my Sport helmet and get a new Evo system 6.
Give me £300 for my helmet which is on a 'no strings' recall and you can do a fab. deal at your dealers. Check with them if you are in any doubt.
I'll even pay postage.
Be quick because I expect to be trampled in the rush.

Did a quick search and found this thread, and thought I would add my recent experience and fortune which is along the same lines.
4 years ago, I purchased BMW sport Helmet brand new from a BMW dealer in the south who were losing the franchise....I was told because they refused to spend a million pounds upgrading their dealership.
Anyway, I bought it off EBay for £150. It came boxed, all the bits and fitted like a glove which was lucky.
2 years ago, I bought a GS that luckily matched my helmet and all was well....until I dropped the bloody thing and damaged the paintwork last summer! Now I know that should have meant new helmet, but I didn't have the cash so decided to stick with it til this year.
However, imagine my surprise while visiting the BMW dealer at the MCN festival in April when I discover that my helmet was recalled last December! Not only that, but I could exchange it free of charge for ANY BMW helmet...or have a refund if I had the receipt. (which wasn't an option bearing in mind the price I paid)
So I made the trip to York and selected myself a very nice system 6 in black for a change.
So far the helmet has been less comfy than my Sport, but getting better with wear. The sun visor is a great feature I didn't realise I missed til I had it. Retail price of the free helmet...£475! So all in....a total outlay of £150 4 years ago and I walk out with a pretty decent helmet.
Hell....I feel like a highwayman! I might have to spend some cash on a blue tooth kit just to lose some guilt
But seriously...thanks BMW for your initial incompetence with the Sport helmet...and then generously swapping it at your expense.
One happy chappy
