Getting some vibes in the bars so looked at a couple solution and Evotech seemed to offer the best fit. The others use longer bar ends which requires the handguard to be stretched out a little where the Evotech version is in two parts and also acts as a protector for the hand guard.

The weight difference is really obvious when you hold both and Evotech say the weights are stock 111 grams and Evotech 368 grams. They have two colours but I chose black

They have the same version for the S1000XR which would need them a lot more than the GS. I have yet to ride with them so can't tell if they make a difference but expect they would have to which such a difference in weight.

I've always put their rad guards on my bikes and they always seem to look the best to me. Their engine guards for the GS are the best looking around in my opinion.
