EWS Antenna Ring Replacement Guide

Hi All,
I have searched as much as I can, but I cannot find anyone who has replaced the EWS antenna ring themselves, other than the quick fix of taping the new one with the spare key to the ignition barrel.

Does a guide exist to do it properly? I have confirmed that it is definitely the EWS ring, and I have the new part, just now need to get it swapped over.

Are there any step by step guides? I am used to working on yamaha's and the yokes are a lot easier to remove than on this!

I don't want to start ripping things to bit unnecesarily, so some sort of handy guide would be good

It's held in place with some security bolts, unless someone has replaced them earlier, with conventional Torx or Allen head bolts.

Several threads on how to do it... Including one from some bod who fecked up the drilling.

Sorted. Antenna security bolts removed, antenna swapped, bike back on the road. You don't have to remove a single panel other than the screen.
