Ex Airhead Owning Numpty needs help identifying these items

The ignition module has a number on it
One type is good for all airheads of that era
One is specific for kickstart models as well as the rest
That one would make a better price on fleabay/or on here
details of which is which should be found on the net

Is it what I wish it to be?:nenau

Well I'm still not exactly sure, using the search I found this post from Nobby which seems to suggest what it is and kind of makes sense as Nobby described it would negate the need for the 400w kit I was going to buy for all my electrikery.

It must've worked as I never needed a bump start from Cookie ever again :D

Is that the one that burns out the battery on tick over

Remember there are two lengths of earth lead - the GS with the battery longways needs one around 15" long, the rest around 11 1/2'.

And heavy - 4 gauge - cables do seem to make a diffference to the charging and starting, at least on a 300,000 km G/S they do.

But I was lloking for for a reason for poor srarting so this may not be typical.

Worth the $ 50- for the kit - there is a thread somewhere with the address.

All that bloody fuss at the time and you never used the ignition module

It'll fit all non kickstart Airheads since 1981 as well as loads of 80's cars including porsches
