Mrs Berin and I have super pro avi's and Kenwood TKC's for bike to bike. Recently, the communications have been poor quality and I posted to the effect that my music also sounded crap, so we arranged to visit Autocom up at Warwick.
It's nice to know really good customer service still exists
. They fitted us into the workshop at 2 days notice, and on checking found my unit was pretty much u/s due to water ingress (take note all 1200GS owners who have the unit mounted where the service book was mounted over the battery...). They also found out that the reason the PTT fitted on mrs Berins F800GS at the dealer didn't work was on account of it was never wired up.
Any way, they fitted a new unit for me, re-wired some bits, fixed Mrs berins PTT, re-installed the headsets in 4 helmets, and gave us a lesson on radio etiquette (mrs berin always talks over me and then wonders why she can't hear anything).
The cost? The price of 2 extension cables we needed.

Cheers Guys
, and gsrich of this parish in particular. Top notch service and would wholeheartedly recommend Autocom.
