Hello !!

I would like to be informed if there is any other test than this with all the new exhausts. I am looking basicaly for the can and not full system,i am leaning towards the BOS systems, but i cannot get it all together. Other firm say many things in thir websites and to the test they don't seem to be that good !!

Any news-help ??

I fitted a BOS can about 6 weeks ago and found hardly any difference other than a slightly different sound two weeks later I changed the pipes for the bos ones and what a difference this has made the engine is much freer and very responsive to the throttle the exhaust sound is mind blowing when you open it up to overtake. If you decide to get this system you have to be prepared for a slightly noiser note from the system when riding. By the way there was a full BOS system as new for sale on this site about a week ago.

Got that.. Have seen that the SR exhausts are great, and offer real power to all this.. any ideas ?

I do not want to go on a full system right now..And about the full system, the BOS with the KAT maybe the proper solution

hi, all the aftermarket exhausts will give you the same amount of power, if you have a full system then this will give you a bit more bhp, but overall you are paying for the quality of the products not performance.
As already said if you change the can only you will get no extra performance but the bike will sound a bit throatier
good luck:thumb

So why are all the producers state that the can only will give you 2-5 hp ??

I am between the Sr racing and the BOS !! Not Akrapovic (as i thought in the begining my search)

You will notice very little gains if any, with just a can change. The reason they quote 2-5 bhp increase is to sell their product.... Those figures can be seen between stock bikes, with a little tweaking....
If you want to realise any horsepower gains, go with the full BOS system.....:thumb

If you want a bit more go then you need to ditch the cat. As everyone else has already said changing the can will only change the noise not the performance.

BOS

A full BOS system was fitted to my bike a couple of weeks ago and it makes a significant difference. :bounce1

Its smoother, it revs better, it pulls better, performance is a lot better, more torque low down and lots more go above 5000 rpm and best of all the growl from the can even with the baffle in is amazing for a road legal pipe.

Overall I just find the bike easier to ride!

You won't be disapointed if you opt for BOS.:thumb

I will order the pipe just to see how it feels and then i will order the tubes so i can really feel and have a feedback of the full system and the differences !!

The silencer by itself does not have a catalyser. Am i correct ?

To get the catalyser you need to get the full system with tubes ?? Any1 has an idea ? WHat is the cat replacement ??This is what i get from the official site..

So the BOS full system does NOT have a catalyser... am i right ?

So,do you think our bike REALLY needs an extra Exhaust system/slip-on unit ?
