Exhaust clamp

I had a brilliant idea, I'm going to give the bike a deep clean ready to coat it in ACF50, I went to remove the exhaust (it's been off before) this time the bolt on the clamp sheared clean off

Has anyone found an alternative to the £32 OEM one? Its a 2018 GSA Rally.

I went to my local branch of Pirtek and bought a large enough stainless steel hose clamp.

If you measure the exhaust pipe diameter you can probably source a suitable one online.

Measure the diameter and get a Mikalor clamp off eBay..

Why not replace the sheared bolt?

Whatever you do, grease the threads if you are using stainless... It "Cold Welds" or galls and will become a single use item, as the OP found. Mikalor are really good in my experience.

Thanks for the replies all, I'll order a Mikalor clamp, in the meantime as Smug suggested I've ground the weld off the remaining bit of bolt and can use a stainless on in the short term.
