These are both signs that there is something very wrong with your bike.

Take it into your local dealer and get them to ......

exchange it for a feckin Micra.

An inch,one whole inch...........ONE INCH?

25.4mm?

2.54 cm?

Slightly more than the distance across a 10p piece?

FFS mine won't move that far!

One thing that really pisses me about this site is the answers to questions that some people get BUT TBH this question deserves every snotty answer it gets.

I really despair of the kind of people who are apparently riding bikes nowadays.I truley hope i never meet them comming the other way!
I thought there were a bunch of pointless idiotic faffers in the Gay Bikers but FFS the real world takes the biscuit!

The whole biking world seems to be dumbing down.I gave up reading Ride magazine a while back when the actually spent half a page explaining to some fukwit how to "Blip the throttle"on down changes!

Yeah pretty good to be fair.:thumb2

I only have one or two pinkies upon the lever so mine wont come back that far clutch disengaged in the first 3/8" travel.
Even the lever catching the handguard is enough to notice a slip!
