Only just got my LC so don't know if this has been mentioned before.

I did my first cross London trip on Tuesday, it was a nice day about 18deg, what I really noticed was my right leg got hot when stationary. Never noticed that on my 2006 GS even in Southern Europe or Morrocco.

Am I being precious, or have does anyone else experience this. Is there a fix, or does fitting an Akra or similar cure it.

Thanks

Really? I had no issues with exhaust heat, riding in temperatures up to 32 degrees.:nenau

I notice heat coming from the exhaust when it's warm also, it seems to swirl and come up behind my right leg. I imagine the catalytic converter is the main culprit. On the other hand I feel nothing from the radiators. Nor oil cooler heat coming up from in front of the tank like my previous oilheads. I imagine aftermarket headers w/o a cat would put out much less heat. Maybe the guys that have ridden in heat before and after installing their Remus or Akrapovic headers will chime in?

I do have the full Akra, so not sure if this makes a difference.:nenau
