Riding round the back roads on the south coast last Saturday on my '83 g/s and my left hand exhaust fell off! luckily I could pull in straight away and the car behind avoided the pipe! It's usually the other way round on my airheads loosening the rose nut is usually the problem. I think the PO who fitted a siebenrock conversion as part of the deal didnt tighten up the rose nut and exhaust clamp fully...
Got it back on by tapping the rose nut round with the 19mm spanner and the box spanner bar.
Got back and checked all the bolts on the bike. Found a hand tight engine bolt as well. Thats dealt with the vibration at 55-60!

but my bike gets bad vibs at 70-80 and smooth at 60ish
