I have an 2002 Adventure which looks as if its been dipped in the sea,
the previous owner used it rear round , but wasnt able to do much cleaning.
The front pipes are in a state, i think they might be stainless, I am a very sad man, i want to restore these to their former glory by beadblasting and
polishing back, has anyone have any advice ( apart from dont do it !)
I have seen a few post where someone painted theirs with a ceramic coating
Thanks

) but I think they are chrome plated. The small cover thingy over the silencer joint certainly is chromed stainless steel as I have had mine repaired and they took the chrome off to enable them to weld it. Try wire wool or fine Scotchbrite to get the worst off.
