Exhaust refit - Sabity Check, Please

I am refitting the stock exhaust and can to my 2008 GSA and am not sure if I have the alignment right.
I am fairly sure that the Akrapovic that I have just removed sat parallel to the pannier frames, the stock can seems to want to sit at a slight angle. Is that correct?
Can someone with a standard exhaust headers and silencer and with pannier frames compare theirs with my photo, please ?

The cases fit without touching the exhaust,.I don't want to waste time trying to fix something that is as it should be .

Yes mine is the same and has rubbed on the clamp bit that you lock the pannier to.

I can't post images as I'm not that computer literate. On my 09 I can get my litter finger tip between the can and the bracket the pannier slides on to, can't make it out from that picture angle if its the same.

Yes I can do the same but only towards the front not along the entire length.
The photo was taken from directly above, looking straight down on the vertical part of the rear of pannier frame.

Yep, only the front one so I'd say yours is OK
