Hi Everyone, I thinking of fitting a remus exhaust system and Bridgestone Battlewing 501/502 tyres to my 2006 1200gs any thoughts or advice on this would be very helpfull. Many thanks Mark.:thumb2

I don't like bridgestone, I find I run off the edge of the tyre too easily.
Are you fitting a full exhaust system, or just the can. The remus is a good system

if you can't afford a full system, at least just get the headers, you will find the bike will breathe a hell of a lot better without the cat

Agree with terayon. The BMW can is supposed to be quite free flowing anyway, it's junking the cat that significantly improves the breathing.

As for tyres, it's often a subjective thing but I'm now running Michelin Pilot 2which are great in the wet, dry and have already lasted longer than the usual 8-10k rear 12-15k front I'd get from say Anakee's. Never tried Bridgestone for comparison but I'd never go back to a trail tyre, especially as I never go offroad!
