Exhausted!!!

That looks nice. I'm looking forward to seeing it on your bike.:thumb Let us know how it sounds.

Dario is it UK Road legal and has it a removable baffle, I wonder why you can't buy in the UK only Italy! Looks nice.

Hi Dario,

I really like the look of the Arrow. Where did you order it from? I can't see a place to order on the Arrow website, http://www.arrow.it/.

BTW, what colour bike do you have as you've chosen the black exhaust?

Thanks,

Paul.

Hi Paul. The company advertise on Ebay under the username Mauro. However it works out slightly cheaper if you buy it from them direct here http://www.emlineamoto.com/

Remember to sign up for their newsletter first (gets you an extra 2% discount). The cans are road legal. There is a removable baffle that is welded in (but the weld is easily removed). Once you have removed the weld its just a clip holding the baffle in. If you are not sure there is a clip on youtube showing how to remove. I suspect that Arrow have to manufacture them like this to get around the legislation. I was able to use Paypal on their site (just gives a little more security if the shit hits the fan).

I went for black as I fancied something different (my bike is red, officially the fastest colour:D )

Dario don't forget pictures and an update on how it sounds with the baffle in and out, mainly concerned as I have a sena headset that I use for music and chatting to mates and if it's to loud might be pointless for me.i suppose I want best of both worlds.

Remus

Thanks Dario for all the info.
I ended up with a bit more money from the sale of some of my old bike parts so was able to spend a bit more on an exhaust. I ended up buying the Remus Hexacone in Carbon. Like you I wanted something a bit different and I think the black exhaust looks great on the bike.
It is a lovely piece of kit. The finish is excellent and the packaging was superb. Fitted easliy in about 30 mins.
I can't link to any photos, but here's a link to a youtube clip for the sound. It is with the baffle in. I'll try to get a clip with the baffle out over the weekend.

That looks and sounds great Emu. Damn you :D

Thanks SiRich,

Took it out for a ride on Saturday and it sounds fantastic! Beautiful sound as you accelerate, and lovely pops and burbles on gear changes.
It is VERY loud though, and that's with the baffle in! I won't bother taking the baffle out now, as I think that would be taking the mickey! My mate tells me he could easily hear me over wind noise, his bike (stock R1200GS) and with ear plugs in, and that was me a couple of hundered yards ahead. :D
On the down side, I did a short stint on the motorway and at about 90 the exhuast note did become very annoying. I need to experiment, but I think it was better a bit slower. Shouldn't be going that fast anyway!

Arrow can

Okay i am still waiting on a new carbon end cap. However i could not resist putting the can on the bike. The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the masking tape between the end cap and the can. That is there to apply sealant to as per the one i have removed. I have also taken the baffle out. Started up and she sound great if a tad loud (i like my exhausts that way). Here are some photos. Not fitted the supplied carbon heat shield yet.

Looks good. Some further away of the whole bike would also give a better idea.:thumb:D

has anyone seen/experienced their aftermarket exhaust fouling their hardcase(s) ?
