I really like the look of the rear end of the R12S, especially the underseat exhaust exit, I have also seen a R12S today with a nice looking AC Schnitzer exhaust mounted.
I am thinking of trying to mount the underseat exhaust on my GS. (not particularly taken by other underseat exhausts for the GS)
Why, 'cos we are all individuals and everyone has their own taste.
Never mind personal preferences - lets look at engineeering and mechanics
I do not plan on off-roading)
Is this a plain stupid idea??
Will the can fit??
Can it be mounted(with some mods)??
Are the headers on the S bigger diameter than the GS???
Any forseen performance issues??
Yes, I could go buy a 12S, but I like the riding style and position of the GS. It also gives you a commanding view of the road and it will carry luggage easily.
