My bro (who's not yet quite as old and decrepit as me) has acquired a K100 for use during winter and while his Tiger 800XC is off the road following a low speed off). He finds the riding position far from comfortable over any distance and has bought some S/H bars from a K100LT.
His question is will those bars fit straight on or will new cables etc be required?

Mike? :bow

Yes. He will need to replace the control cables (throttle, clutch and fast idle) if going to RT/LT bars. Going from 'S' to 'C' is possible.

He may also need to change the brake master cylinder to first union hose too.

All the wiring should be okay though.

It's a damned sight easier doing it the other way around.

Thanks very much Mike.:thumb2
Knew you would know.
(The Turd has benefitted from a new clutch cable and front discs)

Hows that running - had a blip on that when it resided on the A6 - lovely bike Richard.

Mike - following recent phone call (rubber bushes 1100LT handlebars) sorted this with Jabber and if i can still find what came out of the slots (home-made) stiffeners - i'll photograph and do a short piece on here.

Transformed the bike completely and no more terrible vibration issues and uncomfortable riding after only 40 or 50 miles.
