I have a conundrum -

I'm planning a route to Sids but not using the Nav6

99% of the available on line ones, insist on taking you through every city centre when you select "quickest or fastest route"

How going through a city centre is faster than a bloody motorway is beyond me , and clearly the software lol.

Anyway i can get a route from google maps, and tweak it to how i want it , Toll roads in a certain order / route

Now here's the issue -

I use Co- pilot as my preferred nav unit - (it's display offers more useful info than most other apps )

Co pilot uses the .trp file format -

Everyone else uses there own lol

There a million and one ways to supposedly export your google map route - none appear to work

they show a method for exporting files from google 1.0 and were now on google 9 billion plus ... so feck all works

and then even if the planets aligned, and you get a link from GM you need to convert it

Only two programs appear to do that Route converter or ITN convertor - and if you think basecamp is bad - jesus these are it's bastard cousins

any one esle know of a converter or way to convert a route to a .trp file?
