IMHO fit a Crudcatcher and forget the Extender. It does the same job but better.

Fit both. You can never have too much protection from the elements.

It isn't the cheapest but i would say this is the MachineArt Avant which can be got from Nippys. There's no drilling involved and could easily be sold on if you change your bike.

why give yourself something else to clean????? crud catcher doesn't stop the spray going everywhere.

....carbon fibre one off eBay, sent from Spain (english lass actually bought it over to the UK and posted it from here).
From what I remember, it was good quality and cost about £17, unfortunatley I tried contact adhesive rather than screws or rivets and it seems to have lost contact between Yorkshire and Monaco - pretty much first ride

why give yourself something else to clean????? crud catcher doesn't stop the spray going everywhere.
But it does stop the crud fecking up your bikes front engine cover.

Last year, myself and Wapping ( with Phil), rode up to the ring.
I had a front mudguard extender , Wapping did not. Our engines covers were both covered in crap when we arrived. So I think the extender will keep the rain of the cover, but that's it. Still, the crap on the engine cover looked good though.
