If you are considering an R1200GS, the December issue of Motorcycle Sport and Leisure has an eight page extended review, calling it "planted and surefooted" and "a two-up touring marvel."

Some useful comments from the pillion passenger, though it can't be fun to be 5'6" sitting behind someone who's 6'2".

An excellent, well balanced, well written article. It's a shame the rest of the motorcycling press aren't up to the same standard. 'Motorcycle Voyager' is good if you can get hold of it.

M,S&L sent me three copies last week so that I could see what I thought of them.

I'm going to subscribe. Nice to find a readable congruent bike mag.

Must make a change to those sat pillion on sports bikes who sit like praying mantis with their heads a foot above the riders...scary stuff

MSL is the only bike mag I've so far discovered that is worth reading. It's mature, well written, and interesting.

The others (except Voyager, which is very long-distance-tourer oriented) are laddish, immature, and crude IMHO.
