Just renewed mine, full fat, no excess and including international rescue cover, £442. Ouch !!!

It is worth taking out either the £50 or £100 excess as any parts replaced will be warranted for two years. If you take out the zero excess it will expire with the warrenty

That's what I've just ended up paying by doing it over the phone

But I found out the hard way a few years ago about the excess, whichever excess level you choose is for each and every claim / job. I took my mile in with 2 faults and I had to pay 2 x £100 excess
