Extension Beak for the 650

I have seen in the pictures thread that someone added a front extension beak to their 650 (I think it was blackie), is this the same part as the 800 beak??

Does anyone know where I can purchase it online (or any dealer in the US willing to ship it?)

I got mine through Nippy Normans, not sure if they post outside of Europe though.

It is actually a Touratech beak, so you should try and get one through them.

It's easy to install too

Fruitcake's is an 800GS beak ordered from our local BMW dealer- much cheaper than Tour-a-twat.

And you'll get it while you still own the bike.....

The Touratech part is something like three times the price of the F800GS beak.

I also have the BMW part from the 800. The dealer had it in stock, so it was a matter of driving in, and a few minutes later driving out, for much less than the TT one IIRC.

Does anyone know any parts supplier that could have it in stock and would be willing to ship it? I dont think I will be able to source it easily at my dealer, the bikes are very new down here.

Anyway Tim, i blame you. After seeing a pic of the beak on your bike i decided to take the plunge

As this is my first bike i'll take it on the chin and shop around next time!

800 Beak Extender

Does anybody know if the black plastic beak extender from the 800 fits the 650 beak? The beaks seem to have different part numbers for the two models but I'm not sure if this is due to different colours?

Yes, it's a direct fit, though IIFC you need to drill the beak on the F650GS.

Not sure about dealer prices but TT sells it for £81, or check ebay, there have been a few on there recently going for about £15 (used but genuine)
