Extension for standard GSA Screen

It was just clipped on to the screen. I'll take some pictures, i dont think i have one with it on the bike, but i could pop it back on the bike and take one.
Thank you.

I have the MRA screen with the built in deflector on my GS, definitely and improvement on that.
Not sure if it’s better than the standard screen on a GSA…….. yet😉

£11.69 delivered - how???

It’s actually pretty solid. Takes some thinking about to assemble correctly, but I think it may work just fine. Will stick the freebie Allen keys in my tank bag just in case though.

Had the same thought as yourself, cheap enough to see if it works in the first instance etc. 2 years on it’s still going strong and it works a treat.

The best bit if you get a couple of years out of it and even if you have to replace it you've still not spent the same amount as an expensive one!!
I got hated on in the product review section because I bought a Mud Sling copy which was absolutely identical but cost a quarter of the price and did the exact same job.

Well done for finding a bargain.

RD250 or RD350 ??
Well spotted. It's an 82 350 LC although I've erm.. modified it a bit.

Now a Fahron tuned 400 motor with 28mm Keihin carb's, Nikkon pipes, electronic programmable ignition, ZX6R front end, Metmachex swinger, RGV rear wheel & GSXR front, HEL controls, radial brakes, Koso clocks etc....

I also have copy mudslings :

Used them for 10 miles on my 2020 GS and spot on. I also work in the plastics industry and know how much polymer costs & believe me when I say the Mudsling mark up is eye watering!!

While I'm at it these are ace too: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/314275631678

Add that lot up and it's <£40!

That RD is beautiful, love the Mars Bar colour scheme too, its a real credit to you.

I'm no afficionado of smokers but I've just shown a workmate who's very much in the know and he loves it.

He has recently restored an Aprilia RS125SP: Everyone thinks they know what he has, but they are mistaken. The SP version was built for race homologation in a limited run with a kick start, marchesinis, different pipe, different barrel and a higher RPM RAV valve. They are like hens teeth, I think there are about seven in the UK.

Most of the SP got thrown up the track by aspiring young Italian racers or broken for their race pedigree parts..... If you ever come across an RS125 with a kick start, buy it.

Apology for the Hijack.

Thank you.

I do love 2 strokes & have x4 trials bikes that are strokers, plus an old British thumper but that's another hijack altogether.

This GS(A) is my 3rd and I'm very happy to be back on one again - they're just so damn good for UK roads.

That looks very well made, the depth of the screen appears the same or very similar to the BM existing one. I have just ordered mine. Thanks

When I bought my GS, it was fitted with a Givi Airflow, but it was damaged at the bottom of the screen and it needed replacing. I contacted Givi who advised me that they did not sell the lower screen as a separate item, but they could supply the upper. A new complete screen was ITR of £165, so I purchased a screen from Slipscreens for £60 and used the old upper screen as a template for the hole positions.
It works a treat and saved loads of cash! I bought one of these cheapo ones off ebay to try on my Puig Touring plus screen to see if I prefer it to just using the screen as the Puig one is expensive. If I like it I'll get the Puig version to match my screen

Does the Original screen move or is it solid? On 1250 GSA
Trying to figure if something broke it is like that it moves?

I have always used a Saeng laminar lip on every gs I have had.

I have the taller puig screen and that would move so I fitted some additional brackets which stopped the issue completely

You need something like these. very easy to fit and make a world of difference

Same here.

Taller Puig screen & twin brace brackets. I keep mine in a fixed position to suit me & it's rock solid.

The only down side is that I need to fettle my TFT brace now to fit, but from a screen perspective this is a good set up for me.
