does anyone know if you need to take the 2 wee vent pipes off the inside of the fuel tank plate assembly to remove it from the tank ?? I can't get it out of the hole and don't want to remove them if i don't need to

Its a long time since I did the mod but I seem to recall having a little battle with the single use clips on those pipes.
