Man - slow down a bit.

right, you need to contact R&Vaqualine.

Stick with me here and be patient. they are in Carboor, Victoria, Australia and have a big range of tanks for many differnt types.

e-mail them or call them (current we are 10 hours ahead, so 08:00 am is 18:00 pm in australia.) and ask them about the extra tanks they made up for Tony Kirby from SideTrack.

I dont know what the tourateck ones are like exactly but I did hear the the RVaqualine tanks had been looked at by BMW for the 12GS adventure true or not I dont know but they look very similar...

any way they are at www.rvaqualine.com.au or telephone +61 3 5729 5556 or fax +61 3 5729 5559 and see what they can do.

a 30 liter tank for a Suzi DR650 is AU$650 - thats pretty good in pounds especially as you are looking at 800 quid with out even thinking about much else

Hay man - slow down

any way - look fwd to hearing about your response - an no, I have got nothing to do with them

I don,t think you can get them untill March if you fancy a trip to Germany there only 998 euros that pays for boat and a hotel have a good look round and maybe get some advice on fitting them. They say once all fitting is done you can remove and put side pannals back on in 20 mins quite handy if you don't want them on all the time. Then there,s always the under seat 5lt tank 299euro's.

thanks mitch, nice one

At £800, I would wait until the R12GSA is finally for sale, then find the price of its fuel tank/covers. I bet they cost less than the £800 TT want for the add-ons.

TT fuel pods

Hi all. The TT fuel pods are actually made by Aqualine here in Australia.

I'm having them fitted to my 1200 on 20 Feb :clap - have heard they will still be officially known as "prototypes" - and I will then do about 8-10,000km in a couple of weeks for testing purposes.

I'll post my comments on here when I get back, early March. Not sure of too many technical details, however I do know that each pod has its own filler, so it means filling 3 tanks all the time. :(

If anyone wants more info, contact me off list.

Margaret - blue/black/black, 58,000km and loving it!
